The Telephone Reassurance Program was established to provide additional support to senior adults living in rural parts of Montgomery County who are enrolled in The Friendship Center's Meals on Wheels program.
A dedicated team of staff and volunteers make weekly phone calls to homebound seniors which provides a comforting conversation and verification of the senior's wellbeing.
